and i'm so glad that i managed to wake up at 1245am yesterday and watch the montreal race. not much of ovetaking, but still a exciting race, coz there's so much retirements...9 in all and most importantly, ferrari had a 2-3 finish! yipPeE!!~ =D i'm so lookin forward to the indy race. ferrari rOcks!~ michaeL schumacher rOckS!!!~~~
and i'm beginning to miss the ATC camp. being in logistic com is so much fun, so much action everyday. who said that log com need to have guys? lol. we maybe need guys to do the super manual work, like carrying of chairs from classroom, but other than that, we can handle it. hehez.
i remembered day1, we just ate a few mouths of rice, then we got the news that the games com ppl had forgotten the plastic bags for their war games. so we dashed out to buy the bags from the nearby seng song.
this atc, i didn't participate in most of the games, partly bcoz i was zzz-ing or doing log stuff. the games i participated are the team bonding and the mystery night. team bonding, i was attached to "Democrats" which isn't my group. was a bit sadden then, coz under my care, there were 2 casualties. =X geez. mystery night was fun! haha. it was the only time/game i spent with my group, "Columbia" for the games part. they are very very very observant, so much so tt they mistook a foolscap pad which has nothing to do with the game, as a clue. but still, i think they are very clever. they took quite a short time, if not for the 2 stations where they spent too much time.
for me, the highlight and the most stressful activity of the whole atc is the O.N...operation nightingle. to tell the truth, O.N is something that i have been looking foward eversince last year's atc. it's quite similar to the triage that i've did in sj. the difference is that, O.N is much much more realistic. i was part of the make up team. but haha, i didn't do much. anyway, the whole thing was quite a success, though after the whole activity i then realise a few things went wrong.
the last day, signifies not only the end of camp, but also, the end of activities for the 24th OdAC. as usual, letting go was difficult. we exchanged angel and mortal gifts, and then LL, waii and mr ang said a few words. until that point of time, it weren't that emotional. it was after the phototaking session, when we cheered the traditional cheer for the last time and sang songs, that the taps were turned on. LL started to cry and domino effect, most people started crying too.
to sharon and shwuhuey: thanks for putting up with my craziness, my nonsense, like me saying "i'm afraid of the dark." in the broad daylights. i really enjoyed myself tremendously being in the log com. thank you! =D
to mavis: my first aid counterpart. well, no more first aid stuff to deal with, finally! sorry for pang seh-ing u numerous times, for example, the selection camp, which i threw the 1st aid stuff for u to handle. but it was fun working with you. thanks!~ =)
to leliang: thanks for the entertainment you provided during the camp. though it was just a few lines from 2 of energy's songs. =X
to the 23rd batch: perhaps, without you people who made me like OdAC, i won't choose to be in this cca in the beginning and miss out all the fun. thanks for letting me join the cca too, even though i didn't go for the selection camp.
though, life in OdAC was just a year, and truthfully, i wasn't very active and enthusiastic throughout the year. but still, i really enjoyed the days i spent with you guys, the 24th OdACians. thank you for the memories that you guys had given me. i really feel that "thank you" can't really express all my gratitude towards you guys, but i can't find other words that could mean what i want to say...really million of thanks.
Thanks to all the blogs i referred to(countless) for html code help :) (esp. cyn' and sixseven)
