a week of different emotions.
excited, confused, guilty, embarassed, happy, shocked....
excited and happy: due to the IOC. hehez. London won the bid for Olympics 2012. Yes! I'm a supporter for London and NYC. =D
embarassed: due to some very personal matters. shan't elaborate. =S
confused, guilty and happy due to the returning back to rv to train my juniors. confused, on tuesday coz i didn't really want to go back to train, but i some sort of promised jess that i'll go. so i was in a kind of dilemna. eventually, i didn't go. and i felt a slight guilt. i went back on wednesday. and as usual, i was quite happy to see my juniors. hehez.
The London attacks, shocking. who would have guess that the terrorists had picked such a good timing to attack the city...the day after winning the bid for Olympics 2012. It's been said that the attacks was to stop/disrupt the G8 summit. But why should innocent lives be sacrificed for it? What a moronic method.

Some thoughts...
Isn't natural disasters enough for us to handle? Watching the 1st epsiode of Emergency Room 24 Hours a few weeks back, has showed me how is it like to be in an earthquake. It's funny that i need a serial to "enlighten" me, when there are news on earthquakes from time to time which apparently, didn't make me feel as much as what the serial had did. For that 5min or so scene, I felt as if i was experiencing the earthquake myself. I could feel the people's agony and helplessness. It was traumatising. I wonder...Why do we still need to create more problems for ourselves? Why can't we live harmoniously? And it's kinda funny, how we like to say we are more superior than animals, when sometimes we behave worst than beasts. =X use brains to think and have compassion people. compassion!
