Strumming away my thoughts

yesterday was my birthday. and i kinda believe that birthdays are lucky. haha. =) let me see. this is the first bday i ever spent in school. and it was a "event-ful" day, school wise. birthday wise, not so.
got back math quiz, and yup, got full marks. haha. not bcoz i'm clever, is because of the years of practice. and actually, i shouldn't get full marks. but oh well. then had real estate biz lect, then had FACOM lect...after lunch had FACOM quiz. i think that quiz is kinda goner. dun think i can get good marks. din study until i was very sure, i only had a brief idea. oops. not studious enuff. =X anyway, after FACOM quiz...then was the real estate assignment presentation, i suppose it is the major highlight of the day, school wise lah.

mr raymond had a straight face when he came. i was thinking, jialat, he bad mood. but slowly he kinda lighten up. so heng lah. haha. anyway, kian loong and paxton presented first on their residential sector. mr raymond asked them alot of qns as they presented. SCARY. when they finally finished presenting, mr raymond immediately read aloud their marks - marks for the different components of the assignment, individual presentation marks and their total marks. STRESS. after pax and kl, was farhan and sophii. they did on retail sector, same as my group. halfway thru their presentaion, mr raymond stopped them. apparently, they were out of point. STUNNED. my group started panicking. we were super afraid we were also out of point. a few more groups presented, most of their total scores were around 35-38 out of 50. juz when i thought maybe my group has to present nxt week, i heard my name called out. so, we had to present.

fortunately for us, we were on the right track. *phew* the questions he asked, some we could answer, some we smoked thru. haha. while i was presenting halfway, mr raymond told me to stop moving. lol. apparently, i was swaying, swinging, moving around alot. and i din realised that. i stopped moving, but shortly, i moved again. not fidget, i was swaying. whahhaa. oops. in the end, guess wat! my group did well! even though we missed out on some stuff. but we did well. despite my swaying, i still got full marks for my individual presentation while my groupmates got a mark lower than me. so my total score was....*drum roll* 46/50! WHAHAHAHA. 46/50! felt a huge sense of worthwhile, all the efforts that we put in - goin to chinatown and orchard road on sunday for "site visit", me staying up till 2am then 1am doing the report, staying back in sch till 7pm doing the presentation, doing up the presentation on the mrt rides home, the lack of sleep...i felt that it was all worth it. my whinnings, my anger towards chunsiong and jasmine, sort of came to nought. 46/50! haha.

after the presentation, and after a short chat with mr raymond at the canteen, we went home. jasmine and chunsiong gave me a piggy plushie on the train - my bday gift. i was surprised, coz i wasn't expecting any gifts. i came home and went out again for family birthday dinner. went to imm and ate at long beach restaurant. reached home at 11++ and cut cake. and that's how my bday was spent. pardon for the long REBUS assignment mention. hehe. ok. super tired. goin to sleep soon. time to make up the lack of sleep i had for the past week.
